A former Vice Chancellor of the University of Education, Winneba, Professor Jophus Anamoah-Mensah, has reiterated the need to pay critical attention to Technical and Vocational Education Training (TVET), because it is the key to the socio-economic development of the country.

He said a vibrant technical and vocational training will also address the increasing unemployment situation.

Professor Anamoah-Mensah said this at the stakeholders Forum on TVET in Accra.

The event was in honour of Madam Comfort Ntiamoa-Mensah who was a TVET activist.
