We will implement Economic Transformation And livelihood Empowerment Programme in our second term- President Mahama
President John Mahama has stated that beyond the commitment his government is making under education, health, social protection and infra-structure, his second term in office as president if voted on December 7, would see the creation of more employment opportunities particularly for the young people.
He stated that his second term will see the implementation of Economic Transformation and Livelihood Employment Programme which is anchored on diversification and value addition.
According to him, this programme will enhance people’s income, grow the economy and above all ensure socio-economic transformation of the country.
The President made this comment at the 2016 Manifesto launch of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) at Sunyani in the Brong Ahafo region.
He noted that the NDC’s second term employment will focus on attainment of social inclusion and integration of more young people into the world of work.
President Mahama entreated everyone to grab the manifesto either soft or hard copy to grasp its details as it was developed in simple language which does not require any expertise in any field to understand.
