Chief of Staff inspects Projects in Upper West Region

As part of his week long tour of the Upper West region, the Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah has  inspected a number of  projects .
At the capital city Wa, he inspected forty eight shops, market and lorry terminal all under construction and various levels of completion.  The projects are being sponsored by the World Bank at a cost of Ghc2.159,553 under its urban Development grant.
According to the Wa Municipal Chief Executive. Ishaku Nuhu Piaha the projects which is located at a suburb of the Municipality known as Dobile occupies a total land area of 20 acres  (48 hectares ).
The MCE  mentioned that the project will be allocated to the people in November 2016 adding this will give enough space for business activities in the area.

He added that about ten satellites markets were being constructed at various communities to help improve livelihoods of the area.

At Loggu, the Chief of Staff who was accompanied by a number diginitaries including the NDC General Secretary Johnson Asiedu Nketia, Deputy General Secretary, Kokuo Anyidoho further inspected an ongoing construction of an E-Block, a Gate House, headmaster and staff quarters.

The Upper West Regional Minister, Alhaji Amidu Sulemani explained that the project was being executed under the Secondary Education Improvement Project  (SEIP).
He lauded government for allocating eight of such projects within the region.
