Namoale launches ‘operation retain NDC Seat’
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) incumbent Member of Parliament (MP) and Parliamentary Candidate (PC) for La Dade-Kotopon Constituency, Nii Amassah Namoale has launched an ‘operation retain seat’ campaign.
He also disclosed plans are underway to maximize both presidential and parliamentary votes in this year’s December 7 polls.
According to him, the massively attended launch was an indication that victory for the ruling party in the constituency is certain because it was also evident in the several activities embarked upon leaders and supporters of the NDC ahead of the campaign launch.
Addressing party supporters, he stated that votes to retain John Mahama (JM) and the NDC in power are votes for transformation in one’s life and charged them to work hard to ensure the anticipated victory for the party.
The former deputy agriculture minister admonished party followers not to sit at home with the intention that the NDC has won.
“Let’s go out to every house to tell the people what we are doing and what we have for them in our next term in office,” he stated.
Speaking in Ga, the NDC guru assured the electorates of massive developmental projects if he is given another four years to serve them in parliament.
He promised donating a brand new ambulance to the La General Hospital to facilitate patients’ referrals to other hospitals.
Namoale also promised to take the responsibility to pay the admission fees of brilliant-but-needy students including those who qualified to the University and follow with extending the scholarship net to cover more students.
The incumbent NDC MP promised to organize free medical screening for the aged as well as renewing their National Health Insurance Cards.
As part of what he intends doing in his next term in office for the people of La, Nii Amasah Namoale promised to institute a small loan centre with a seed capital of GH¢ 50,000 that would cater for the people, especially the market women to enable them expand their businesses.
On her part, the La Dade-Kotopon Municipal Assembly (LaDMA) Chief Executive Officer, Rita Odoley Sowah touted the massive development and on-going projects that would benefit the people of La. The MCE revealed more project have been earmarked for the area by the NDC government including a new market with stores, amongst many things.
Greater Accra Regional NDC Campaign Coordinator and former MP of the area, Mr. Sylvester (Sly) Mensah urged the people to vote for the NDC Parliamentary Candidate and President Mahama to continue their good work for mother Ghana.
The former NHIS boss attested that under the leadership of the current MP, Namoale secured LaDMA the municipal status and this has come with massive on-going development projects in all corners of the area.
Sly charged party supporters to help the NDC Campaign Task Force he launched to canvass votes from every corner of the constituency to retain JM and Namoale.
