Former President Mahama Salutes “Gallant” Ghanaian Workers

Former President John Mahama has paid his respect to all Ghanaian workers as the country joins the rest of the world to mark ‘workers day’ today, 1st May.

The former Ghanaian leader in a tweet said :”It’s Workers’ Day. I join my fellow countrymen and women to salute you all, gallant Ghanaian workers”.

May 1 is observed across the world to appreciate the contribution of workers towards development.

Meanwhile, today’s National May Day Parade is currently underway at the Independence Square in Accra.

The event is under the  theme: “Ghana @60: Mobilising for Ghana’s future through the creation of decent jobs”.
