NDC, NPP clash in Deme over ‘Togolese voters’

Reports from Deme, a border community in Dzodze in the Ketu North constituency suggest that supporters on the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) and  opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) have clashed. ‘Disenfranchised’ security officers to vote Sunday – EC

The Electoral Commission of Ghana has announced a second round of Special Voting on Sunday to afford security personnel and others who could not cast their vote in Thursday’s voting to exercise their franchise. The Electoral Commission (EC) of Ghana has asked all the disgruntled security personnel and other special voters to remain calm after they could not find their names in the register to partake in Thursday’s special voting exercising. Special Voters begin voting to elect Ghana’s next president and 275 MPs

Thousands of Ghanaian voters have started queuing at designated polling stations across the country to cast their vote in a special voting exercise ahead of next week’s general elections on December 7.
