Tree Fell On GHANASS Students; Killed One, Injured 6 Others

A first year male student of the Ghana Senior High School (GHANASS), Koforidua in the Eastern Region has died, with six others seriously wounded after a tree on their campus fell on them. The deceased, 16-year-old Edmund Amoako according to reports, was sitting under the tree together with other students when the unfortunate incident happened on Saturday, 21st January, 2017. Reports say,  he was pronounced dead on arrival by authorities of the St. Joseph hospital in Koforidua-Effiduase. Government initiates policies to enhance Arabic studies at SHS level

Government has initiated policies to ensure that the study of Arabic among students was enriched at the Senior High School next year, the Chief of Staff, Mr Julius Debrah has hinted.
