Students of the St. Charles Minor Seminary Senior High School in Tamale in the Northern Region who were sent home following a fire disaster at their dormintory are expected back in school today Monday, 27th March, 2017. ENI partners SADA to establish 20-50 MW solar plant

Government’s target of generating 10 percent of its electricity from renewable sources by 2020 has received a major boost. This is as a result of an agreement signed between Petroleum company, ENI and the Savannah accelerated Development Authority (SADA) to assess the feasibility of establishing a solar plant in the Northern Savannah Ecological Zone (NSEZ). Medical philanthropist, Dr David Abdulai, dies at age 65

The Founder of the Shekhinah Clinic in the Northern Region where mentally ill persons, the homeless and HIV positive persons are treated for free, Dr. David Abdulai, has passed at age 65. This was confirmed by a member of his family, who said the sad event occurred at the Tamale Teaching Hospital (TTH) on Sunday evening, where he was receiving medical attention. Mal’Zali Naa Alhaji Inusah Fuseini has donated about 700 bags of local perfumed rice to twelve (12) orphan constituencies and some opinion leaders in the Northern Region.
