The AshantiGold SC have mutually parted ways with coach CK Akunnor. The Obuasi based club have ended their stay with the former Ghana international by a mutual consent. The 44-year-old was queried by the management of the AshantiGold after failing to report for training. The executive committee of the Ghana Football Association has confirmed Kwesi Appiah as the coach of the Senior National Team, the Black Stars of Ghana. Former Black Stars head coach Herbert Addo has died after battling illness. Addo, who has coached for four decades starting from his first job with Armed Forces Team S.S. 74 in the Old Ghana Division One league, passed on Friday afternoon.
